Barnegat Bay Cruise Co. reserves the right to postpone the trip up to time of departure for safety concerns. What to Bring?

We suggest a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (please no spray sunscreen). It is normally 10-15 degrees cooler on the water at night, so bring a sweater or jacket to stay comfortable. Bottled water is available for your convenience. This is a BYOB Beer or Wine vessel. Snacks like cheese, crackers and fruit are a great addition to enjoying the views. Barnegat Bay Cruise complies with all USCG and federal laws while on the water. No federally illegal substances are permitted. Captain reserves the right to end trip with no refund if someone becomes too intoxicated or illegal substances are found.

What about children?
Children are welcome to join you on your day on the water, however anyone under the age of 12 must be in a life jacket at all times while onboard the vessel per USCG law. It is recommended to bring your own so that your child is comfortable wearing for duration of trip.
The sunset cruise is normally enjoyed more by adults only.

Sunset Guarantee?
We can guarantee that the sun will set but, we cannot guarantee you will get to see it.
Most nights the sunset is superb but, some nights the clouds block you from a good view. We have seen many dramatic photos when the clouds interfere with the sunset. There is no refund if you do not get a good sunset display.

Is swimming off the boat allowed?
Swimming off the boat is allowed at the correct times. No diving off the boat is allowed at any time because the bay is very shallow. Boat must be stopped with the motor off before anyone would be allowed to go swimming. There is no lifeguard on the boat - all swimming is At Your Own Risk.
